Rain Suits

Rain suits are very good things if it rains. The very cheap ones made out of PVC are just fine if it's raining heavily, but tend to be very uncomfortable if it stops raining. If you're riding in and out of rain, closable vents are a very good thing.

Dry Rider DR-900 1 Piece Rainsuit. Raised collar, corduroy lining. Vented back. Reflective striping on chest, arms, and legs. Hook and loop cinch straps at wrists and ankles. Elastic half belt. Boot stirrups. Thigh pocket on left side. About $36.

Frogg Toggs PA102 2 Piece Rainsuit. Full-zip front jacket with button down storm flap, elastic cuffs and waist, attached hood that stores in zippered collar. Pants have elastic waist with drawstring, pass through pockets with snaps, and elastic ankles with 8" zipper. Suit weighs 19 ounces, and is breathable. Available in Orange, Black, White, Blue, Gray, and Khaki. About $60.

Marsee two-piece rain suit. Nylon with PVC outer coating. 3M Retro-reflective stripe. Corduroy lined collar, hook and loop adjustable collar, cuffs, and wrist. Heat shields on inside of legs Four front pockets. Pants have side entry pocket for a wallet. About $115.

Nelson Rigg AX-1 Two-piece rain suit. PVC-coated polyester with heat sealed seams. Jacket has cooling vents under arms and on back, corduroy lined collar, and an outside pocket.
